Jane Andrews was born in London and bought up in south East England; 1994 she completed BA hons in fine art at West Surrey College of Art and Design. Andrews now lives and works in Brighton. Her works can be found in the Atkinson Art Collection, and The Nicholas Treadwell Collection and in Private collections worldwide. Her oil paintings and mixed media sculptures create personalised, adapted and distorted allegories, motifs and mottos which serve as a vehicle to explore issues relating to ecological concerns, psychological dynamics, and existential dread, with an absurdist humour that flies in the face of convention and conservatism. www.janeandrews.co.uk
